Bill Betz, D.O., MBA
President and Founder
Bill is a board-certified ER physician. He grew up in Logan, Utah and first started out as a businessman in California. After meeting his better half, Amy. They returned to medicine in Texas. He trained in Emergency Medicine for residency at Maricopa "Copa" Medical Center in Phoenix AZ. He and his family returned home to Logan to work full time and have absolutely loved being back.
Bill is extremely passionate about education and serving others. He founded iHelp in 2003 while still in college and desires to teach and train students to become their absolute best.
Jess Jewett MS
Clinical Instructor
Dr. Jess Jewett is Medical Director of Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine at Cache Valley Hospital in Logan, UT. He was born and raised in Orem, Utah and is an alumni of Utah State University.
After graduating from the American University of the Caribbean, he completed a surgical internship at Saint Joseph's Exemplar in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Jewett then completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi.
Nick Kannan MD
Clinical Instructor
Nick works full-time asana Emergency Physician at Cache Valley Hospital, and he is also a part time faculty member at University of Utah. He directs their wilderness medicine course and pathway. Nick is a enthusiastic teacher, physician and world traveler. Nick has traveled across the globe adventuring and using his skills to help many people at various base camps.
Scott Grover DO
Clinical Instructor
Scott is a wonderful instructor and board-certified in general surgery and wound care. He directs the surgical practice and wound care program at Cache Valley Hospital. He is often training and instruction nursing staff and EMS providers to help their educational development.

Dr. Wesley S. Mortensen is an anesthesiology specialist in Logan, Utah. He graduated with honors from University Of Utah School Of Medicine in 2005. Having more than 12 years of diverse experiences, especially in anesthesiology, Dr. Mortensen affiliates with Logan Regional Hospital, Cache Valley Hospital, and cooperates with other doctors and specialists in medical group Interwest Anesthesia Associates.
Mathew Welter MD
Clinical Professor
Dr. Mathew Welter specializes in primary care and inpatient medicine. He is a tremendous value to those around him and the community that he serves. He is the department head for inpatient services at Cache Valley Hospital. He is often found educating the nursing staff and the EMS providers in the community to help them grown in their expertise. Dr. Welter is an excellent resource for any considering private practice and primary care professions.
